Many people don’t understand why Coffee Houses are so inviting. Anonymity and low maintenance relationships are part of it. There are very few places that bring together such a diverse group of interesting and opinionated and passionate people. You can in the right one, enjoy your laptop or book, while listening to other’s conversations and occasionally participate in a safe way. You need not share your name if you choose - but many a safe relationship begins this way. The relationship is safe because it can stay there if you choose and not require an outside commitment. Don’t we all long for more of these?
